Trip to stone age

On the way back from Ranganthithu we as usual stopped at Kamath Lok Ruchi which is our favourite spot to enjoy North Karnataka cuisine.Just adjascent to it is "Janpadloka" .We were just in time to take a stroll around that place .It was an enchanting place which showcases Karnataka's tribal art and culture .Many students come over to learn sculpting ,pottery making n clay modelling. One room showcased the olden days kitchen ware .Tanisha found it very interesting .She was astonished to see the olden days stove ,cooker ,raincoat n the hand mill (used to make flour from grains). In another room were the traditional musical instruments , swords ,knives kathputhlis (puppets) and the traditional dresses. We were trying to get some ideas for the coming fancy dress competition for Tanisha. :)
